Letter from the Director-January 2020

Good morning this lovely January 2, 2020. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be on top of things in 2020. We’re starting off with a bang. We are taking in donations this morning from Breadsmith, Basse’s, Pick-n-Save, Piggly Wiggly, Kwik Trip, Starbucks, Walmart & Aldi.

The community was very good to us this Christmas season. We had huge donations from Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial and Jason Stark, his family, friends, & businesses from “Lights on Glen Cove”. We are truly blessed to have the support from our community.

We gave out over 120 hams for Christmas dinner. Approximately 90 children received Christmas presents donated from Anytime Fitness and residents from Tudor Oaks.

We served 2395 families in 2019. That was a 7.8% increase from last year.

We continue to thank the businesses, churches, and residents of the community who help so much that we wouldn’t be able to help the families that we do.

I hope everyone has a prosperous and blessed New Year.
Julie-Director
