Letter from the Director-July

Wow the year is 1/2 over.  It was barely 50 degrees this morning when I woke up.  As much as we’d like it to be a little warmer it is really good for the air conditioning bills.

We have already received produce donations from the students at Muskego El when they harvest their garden.  We are looking forward to more donations from community gardens, farmers and home gardens.  Your fresh produce is greatly appreciated.

With school not in session please remember the kids when you go grocery shopping.  Mac & cheese, peanut butter & jelly, and other things for easy summer lunch items are needed.

We will be closed on Saturday July 4th so our volunteers can spend the holiday with their families.

Please remember us when you do your weekly shopping and drop a few extra things in our barrels at Pick n Save, Piggly Wiggly and Walmart.

Thanks for your support and have a fun and safe Independence Day.

Julie
