From the Director-June

I know it’s a little late but I have so much good news I had to wait to compile it all.

Welcome June!!  School is almost out, please shop with kids in mind.  We can’t get enough peanut butter & jelly and mac & cheese.

Stamp out Hunger was in May.  A banner year for donations.  A little over 9500 pounds were donated.  Thank you city of Muskego and the postal employees for all your support.

The first Jammin’ on Janesville is history .  We made over $1,100 in donations from Yesteryears Old Fashioned ice cream (thanks Bob) and brats, polish, hotdogs, cookies & beverages.  Thanks Pick n Save for the location, your grilling expertise (Rich-store manager) and your donations.  It was a big success.

Please keep us in mind when you are harvesting your gardens.  We love your fresh fruits and vegetables.

Remember…school’s out (not the Alice Cooper song)  We need to feed the students who don’t get school lunches.  Soups, PB & J, mac & cheese and other easy lunch stuff is very much appreciated.

Thanks for all you do to help us and have a safe summer!

Julie
